This is a 20x20SRV    tent with a 4 sided valance. Note that the top pipe was cut just a little bit too long as the valance does not cover up the horizontal end bar which would have made it look a little nicer. The 4 sided valance is not standard with any tent models.
This frame is used to cover a Koi pond and keep the sun from overheating the Koi fish by using my 74%  sunblock mesh cloth.
This customer neatly used a 24x24 tarp on a with a 4 sided valance on a  20x20 gable tent. This was used as a permanent storage shelter for his excess product.

This cutaway on a 20x20SRV7 tent shows the valance to shed water to the outside of the tent. The white tarps allow a lot of light to come into the tent. Note that the gable end triangle is not yet covered.
This 10x20SRV model is used for a carport. It has no sides but keeps the rain and sun off his truck.
This customer made a shade shelter from our hardware. It does not look that there is much slope to this structure. Could be he just plans to have it up for a short period of time.
This  20x20 SRV gives shad shelter over this pool. The widest area it can cover is 20 ft wide.
This picture shows that the 1" EMT Steel is strong enough to chin your self on. If this was aluminum you would not be able to do this. This is a frame fro a  ice fishing house.

This customer neatly used a 24x24 tarp on a with a 4 sided valance on a  20x20 gable tent. This was used as a permanent storage shelter for his excess product.  Note that this was put on a wood flor of some kind. You can not see the footpads.
I am not sure how this customer is putting up his 40 ft wide tent. I guess he is putting the reinforced truss triangle up last. Seems to be a difficult way to assemble this.
This looks like the truss structure for a 40 ft wide tent with the whtie tarps already attached. I am not sure how he got it the truss to the top.
There are no extra wide trusses on this 40 ft. wide tent. Assembling it in this manner is not recommend. It is too hard to get the structure up at one time. It looks like he was going to use a crane to lift the top to the righ.

A very tall ladder would be a big help in this assembly. He put the lower part of the tent  up first. It is not the recommended procedure.
This is a 40x40 tent without extra trusses for long term set up to prevent ponding. The 10x10 squares are very large and could pond water.

This 40 ft wide tent has white sides and a white top to give additional light for this photographer who used the tent to take many group pictures of his clients.
This is a SR model which has one row of poles down the middle because it is wider than 20 ft. It is probably a 40 ft wide tent.
This 7x7 ice fishing or play house is not made for a long term set up because the roof does not slope to dispose of water.  The tent does not use foot pads and can be dragged along the ground if it has to be move to another location.
In this photographers tent he has put the foot pad inside a concrete block. It is just a 8x8  block which is probably not heavy enough to do the job of hold the tent from flying away.
This 20x30SRV tent was built inside a church just to give the effect that you were camping outside because the weather was not very good. The tent has a valance for a neater effect. The foot pads were put on a plastic sheet to protect the wood floor.
This 30 ft. clear span frame was used to test the strength of the  1"  EMT conduit using the truss structure usually found in a 40 ft tent.  The upper structure would work ok for the 30 ft span over the pool but the support legs should be switched to heavier cold water pipe.
This customer wanted a shelter over his pool. Later he pulled the sides down on cover to keep the heat in his pool.
This customer used a 7 fitting dome structure to assemble an airplane. He closed in the ends with plywood very neatly  for a long term set up. You can see the hinges.  for a door to enter the structure.
This is a 10x30 SR tent to keep the sun out. There does not seem to be anything to keep the tent from flying away should you get high winds. There are no weights on the foot pads and not visible stakes.
This dome structure  uses only 7 fittings so it does not have a knee wall which would require  9  fittings or 10 fittings with an important tightening bar.
This is a 40x40 tent at the back of a restaurant for extra seating space for his larger crowds. He used this  structure for about 4 years until he sold the restaurant and did not add a permanent structure as originally planned.
This dome tent was not properly installed. The customer informed me that he had fittings left over. That was caused by the fact that he did not put the trusses  40"  apart making the structure far less stable. Look for other photos on this page showing what happened to his tent.
Note that only 7 fittings are used to create this less expensive dome which has no knee wall.
Note that this 40x40SRV10 restaurant extra room tent uses 10' support legs. Amazingly the tent withstood the wind most of the time.
This 20x20SDV7 garage tent shows the valance along with poles down the middle for extra support.  The valance helps shed the water to the outside of the tent.
This is what happens when you build a very large dome tent  with the distance between the trusses way to big which  made side pockets for catching too much wind.
I am not sure how they are going to lift the  the  roof structure up to put the legs under this 40x40 tent.
This is a 40x60 SDV tent installed by a grocery store distribution warehouse. Interestingly they built the top section on the ground and then tried to lift it all up evenly using  7 forklift truck. Unfortunately the upper structures could not be keep left and did not hold.
There is no  covering on the gable end of this patio tent. I don't see a valance so I don't know how this  would shed water.

There is no valance on this  40x40SD tent with a silver tarp. The SD model has support legs 10 ft in both directions for maximum support. It was a for a short term set up so extra trusses were not used.
This 40x40SDV10 tent was for this restaurants additional seating space for large events. The side tarps could be rolled up on nice days. Here he is getting ready to put a top tarp cover on.

Our tarps and frames were used inside a warehouse to give a lighting and photo location for some vehicles for sale.
Note the  8x16 concrete blocks weighing down each foot pad to keep the unit from blowing away in the wind.
This is a 20x30 SDV tent has a side valance and a row of poles down the middle. Note the light attached to some of the 1"EMT Electrical Conduit.
High winds destroyed this dome tent which was made using trusses 120" apart instead of 40" apart as recommended. The pipe was bent but the fittings can all be reused.
This mesh cloth gave sun protection for this patio.
This  60x60 dome tent had the trusses too far apart and did not survive  high winds. See other photos above to see what happened.
This is a  garage tent is a 20x20SRV but only  has a valance on one side. The left side does not have a valance. The SR model does not have poles down the middle.
This is inside a warehouse where the white tarp is used to reflect the light. The frame was support from wires going to the roof of the warehouse.
This frame was set up to take  photos inside with maximum lighting.
This cover over a pool has sides to heep the heat in around the pool. I dont think he as the side tarp on the correct horizontal bar as you can see light coming through. Note the gable ends have been totally covered.
This is a 16'x16' wood deck using a hardware from a 20x20SRV size  frame but not getting an oversized tarp. The 20x20 tarp worked perfectly  on the 16x16 foot print using a 4 sided valance.
This photographers dome tent is along side 2  10x20 gable. You can see how the dome tent is much better for high winds.
I assume their is a slight slope to the awning cover so the water will shed to the outside without ponding.
You can see the slight slope here to shed watter. The model seems to fit the trailer patio perfectly.
Color coding your tent makes it alot easier and quicker to put up each time by matching colors to get the right pipes in the right place.  My tape package is 7 rolls of all different colors of tape.
This awning uses no valance and gives rain and shade shelter being on his patio.
This  40x40SRV model has one row of poles down the middle. He has one  8x16 concrete block as well as staked down straps to hold the tent from blowing away.
